Hello ♥
I hadn't been writing a lot recently, but that's only because I was on holidays. I spent a nice time with my family and I feel so recharged after those two weeks. That experience of spending time outside, with nature and taking a proper rest brings me to the topic that I want to share with you today.
These days, when time seems to pass so quickly, we tend to do as much as we can. Sometimes we associate being satisfied with our lives with hard work. The feeling of fulfilment doesn't have to be connected to the perpetual rush. If we try to accomplish the goals established before one by one, we won't be able to appreciate our successes. We'll be like robots, wanting to do determined tasks. That's why taking a break is good for our mental and overall health.
It may seem strange, but the busier you are, the more rest you need. Just think about it, if we are constantly stressed out, we can't focus on things that matter. Nerves are also bad for our health.
If you feel uptight and have a huge amount of things on your to-do list, you should relax at first.
What I mean by that is going on holidays once in a while (and we don't
have to go far from our house), meditating or going for a walk. While doing it, you may be thinking, that you still have so much to do and you won't have enough time. The truth is, it will help you get motivated and focus on things later.
To sum up, take a rest whenever you need it because it will give you a time to think about your life. Remember that '' The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.''

I completely agree with every word that you wrote. Relaxing is one of the most important pieces of out life, especially now when we all are in constant run and under stress. Every day before sleeping I meditate and that really helps me a lot.

The pictures of this post are already calming! I've felt the need to stop and take a break several times this year, and it only means I need changes. Taking a weekend to relax seems like a luxury sometimes.
